Merge: MCP vendor profile
Merge Agent Handler gives AI agents per-end-user access to 190+ MCP-ready third-party connectors through Tool Packs, with a Security Gateway that scans every tool call against data-loss rules, as documented by the vendor. A Merge Tool Pack is the set of tools an agent can reach at a given moment, governed and versioned per agent surface (docs.merge.dev).

What it does for this layer
Each Agent Handler MCP connection uses the URL pattern https://ah-api.merge.dev/api/v1/tool-packs/<TOOL_PACK_ID>/registered-users/<REGISTERED_USER_ID>/mcp, with an Access Key in the Authorization header (docs.merge.dev). Merge's Security Gateway scans every tools/call against entity rules (identity, government and financial IDs, payment, health, network), custom regex rules and natural-language guardrails (docs.merge.dev). An agent with no Merge account can sign itself up with one unauthenticated POST to https://ah-api.merge.dev/api/v1/agent/signup/, which returns an API key, a starter Tool Pack and a Registered User (docs.merge.dev).
End users authenticate through Merge Link with OAuth, API keys or custom auth, or share credentials across a Group (docs.merge.dev). Merge lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA for Agent Handler, with extra application-level encryption on PII (docs.merge.dev).
