# Pricing

Agent MCP Directory is free to read and free to fetch. There are no plans or tiers, accounts do not exist, and there is no paid API. Nothing here is metered or sold.

## What is free

- Every page, and the markdown twin of every page.
- `/llms.txt`, the section indexes, `/llms-full.txt`, `/sitemap.xml` and `/feed.xml`.
- The census and its downloads.
- The MCP server, the REST API and the ask endpoint, described at `/developers/`. They read the same data as the pages and need no credential.

## The directory download

The directory data at `/data/` is published as CSV and JSON under CC BY 4.0, and the answers the API serves from it carry the same licence. Reuse it for any purpose, including commercial use, if you credit the source. The citation line on `/data/` is the credit we ask for: Agent MCP Directory, "MCP and CLI Directory", 4 November 2026 edition, https://agentmcpdirectory.com/data.

## What this does not cover

Facts about other companies' prices, such as hosting or gateway plans, are quoted on the host pages with the date they were read. Those prices belong to the vendors and can change; the page says when each was read.

## Fetching politely

Pages and files have no published rate limit. The API and the MCP server allow 120 requests a minute per client address, announced in RateLimit headers. Cache responses, send an honest user agent, and prefer `/llms-full.txt` or the CSV over crawling 1,500 pages.
