Mastra: MCP vendor profile
Mastra is an open-source TypeScript agent framework whose @mastra/mcp package provides an MCP client for agents and an MCPServer that exposes Mastra tools and agents to external MCP clients, as documented by the vendor. Mastra's MCP support installs as @mastra/mcp with npm, pnpm, yarn or bun, and the docs link a migration guide for users of @mastra/mcp 1.x (mastra.ai).

What it does for this layer
Mastra's MCPClient lists tools from configured servers so an agent can use them, for example tools: await mcpClient.listTools() (mastra.ai). npx @mastra/mcp generate writes a typed MCPServers interface that the MCPClient constructor accepts (mastra.ai). Mastra pricing lists a free tier with 100K observability events and 24 CPU hours, and a 250 USD a month tier with 1M events and 250 CPU hours (mastra.ai). Mastra can create an MCPServer to expose Mastra primitives to external MCP clients (mastra.ai).
