Logto: MCP vendor profile
Logto is an open-source identity platform whose MCP guide makes Logto the authorization server for an MCP server through the mcp-auth library and MCP SDK v2, with the server registered as an API resource, as documented by the vendor. Logto's guide adds a whoami tool that returns the current user's identity claims from the access token (docs.logto.io).
At a glance
What it does for this layer
Logto documents a separate use case for enabling third-party AI agent access to an MCP server (docs.logto.io). Logto Cloud pricing starts from 24 USD a month, with 50K free tokens then usage billing, and a self-hosted option (logto.io).
Logto's guide integrates Logto with an MCP server "using mcp-auth and the MCP official SDK v2" (docs.logto.io). In Logto, the MCP server is registered as an API resource, and its resource identifier must match the indicator configured in the server (docs.logto.io).

What it does not do
- Logto's main MCP guide registers the client in advance rather than showing dynamic client registration (docs.logto.io).
- Logto does not host the MCP server.
