Agent MCP Directory

Do companies with an MCP server score higher on Ora?

Among directory companies Ora has scored, 94 with an open MCP server have a median Ora score of 68, and 470 with none on record have 56. Ora's catalog gives a server direct credit, so part of the gap is built in.

Ora scores a domain whether or not it ships an MCP server, and its catalog gives a server direct credit. This page sets out Ora's scores for the 933 directory companies Ora has scored, split by what the connector found, then says how far the numbers can be read.

What the catalog explains and what it does not

  • The catalog rewards a server directly: mcp-server is a required check worth 6 points, and 14 more checks, such as tool descriptions, parameter schemas and OAuth metadata, apply only once Ora finds a server (GET /api/checks). A company with no server cannot earn them. The list.
  • The directory was built from MCP registries, vendor documentation and Ora's own leaderboard, so the sample leans toward developer-facing companies. It is not a random draw of the web.
  • The groups differ in other ways Ora scores: the last column shows how often each group also has an OpenAPI file on record, one of the files Ora's checks look for.
  • Read the table as an association in this sample. It does not show that adding a server raises a score by a given amount.
