# Ora: MCP vendor profile

Ora scores domains, MCP server URLs and MCP Apps for agent readiness, lists scored products in a searchable directory, and exposes the same scan through a public MCP server and the ax CLI, as documented by the vendor. Ora declares its MCP server in /.well-known/mcp.json at https://ora.ai/api/mcp over streamable-http, with 18 tools that include scan\_domain, get\_score, run\_journey and generate\_agent\_files (ora.ai).

## At a glance

| Type | Registries and directories |
| --- | --- |
| Operator | era labs |
| Home | ora.ai |
| Price | free, rate-limited by IP |

## What it does for this layer

Ora's integrations page says the server "runs on the legacy-era MCP 1.x serving stack" and is compatible with clients that support protocol revisions through 2025-11-25 ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/integrations?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). Ora's integrations page lists Cursor, Claude.ai, VS Code, Goose and Windsurf as platforms where the Ora MCP server can be added ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/integrations?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). The ax CLI runs the Ora audit with npx ax audit <url> and, per the CLI docs, needs "Zero install, no account"; --json emits the full report and --min-score exits non-zero below a threshold so a CI step fails ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/docs/cli?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)).

The ax CLI can audit a local server through the user's own tunnel with --tunnel-cmd, for example ngrok on port 3000 ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/docs/cli?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). Ora's pricing endpoint lists a single Free plan at 0 USD with "10 scans per minute", "Unlimited score lookups" and MCP server access, and says all endpoints are open and rate-limited by IP ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/pricing?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). Ora's auth.md states that no Ora API is OAuth-protected: there is no /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, and /.well-known/openid-configuration is described as "a discovery signal, not a live OAuth authorization server" ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/auth.md?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)).

Feedback writes to Ora are MCP-only and require the get\_verification\_challenge tool, a reverse challenge that proves the caller is an agent, with no account or key ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/auth.md?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). Ora issues API keys manually per partner; auth.md says Ora "does not currently support agentic self-registration" ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/auth.md?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). Ora's llms.txt says every ora.ai page registers WebMCP tools through document.modelContext: scan\_domain, get\_score and get\_leaderboard ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/llms.txt?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)).

The Ora directory page calls itself "The agentic index of the web" and tags each listed product with capabilities such as MCP server and OpenAPI next to its agent-readiness score ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/directory?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)). The Ora home page showed "145,714 sites scanned" on 5 Nov 2026 ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile), vendor's own claim). A GET of the official MCP Registry search for "eralabs" (and for "ora.ai") returned zero servers on 5 Nov 2026, so Ora's MCP server is not listed there under its own namespace ([registry.modelcontextprotocol.io](https://registry.modelcontextprotocol.io/v0/servers?search=eralabs), observed 5 November 2026).

Ora runs a second, read-only docs MCP server at https://ora.ai/api/docs/mcp with search\_docs, get\_docs\_page and get\_endpoint tools ([ora.ai](https://ora.ai/llms.txt?utm_source=agentmcpdirectory.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=profile)).

## Checks on its own domain

| Check | Domain | Result | Scanned | Method |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Ora cached score | ora.ai | 95 of 100, grade A+ | 5 November 2026 | how it was taken |
| Ora leaderboard score in this directory's row, 4 November | ora.ai | 84 of 100, grade B | 4 November 2026 | the directory row |
| Cloudflare agent-readiness scan, earlier reading | ora.ai | 75 of 100, L2 Bot-Aware; 12 of 16 counted checks passed | 5 November 2026 | how it was taken |
| Cloudflare agent-readiness scan, later reading | ora.ai | 75 of 100, L5 Agent-Native; 12 of 16 counted checks passed Second reading the same day: the score stayed at 75 and the band moved from L2 Bot-Aware to L5 Agent-Native. | 5 November 2026, 14:39 UTC | how it was taken |

Ora scores its own domain here, so the 95 is Ora's reading of Ora. The leaderboard row in this directory recorded 84 on 4 November 2026, and Ora's cached score read 95 on 5 November 2026. Cloudflare's scanner, run by a different party, read the same domain at 75 twice on 5 November 2026, band L2 Bot-Aware first and band L5 Agent-Native on the later scan.

## What it does not do

- Ora does not host, proxy or gateway other companies' MCP servers.

Ora is the check this directory recommends for testing an MCP server: [the reasons, the limits and the alternatives](https://agentmcpdirectory.com/test-your-mcp-server/), [the checks it runs](https://agentmcpdirectory.com/mcp-checks/), [its own MCP server and tools](https://agentmcpdirectory.com/ora-mcp-server/) and [the directory's companies by Ora score](https://agentmcpdirectory.com/ora-scores/).
